Welcome

Hi, I'm Sarah Harrison, a New Zealand Registered Psychologist with a special interest in neurodevelopmental assessment, including ADHD and autism.

Why I do this work

I enjoy helping children, adolescents, adults and families better understand the way they think, learn and experience the world. My goal is not simply to determine whether someone meets diagnostic criteria, but to provide meaningful answers and practical recommendations that help people move forward with confidence.

My approach

Every assessment is individualised. I use clinical interviews, developmental history, standardised assessment tools and information from parents, schools and other professionals to develop a comprehensive understanding of each person's strengths and challenges.

I believe an assessment should provide more than a diagnosis. It should help individuals and families understand what is happening, why it is happening, and what supports are likely to make the greatest difference.
